Barlows Builds On Success With Nine New Appointments

July 2007

Barlows, a leading project management contractor specialising in high street interior solutions, has appointed nine new site managers. This massive employment drive is due to the company’s year-on-year business success and the strong market position Barlows has managed to secure.

The company has strengthened existing relationships with leading retailers and high profile brands such as Marks & Spencer, JJB and Total. Having achieved significant growth so far in 2007, this has led to a number of new appointments.

Barlows has developed its strong market position due to the competitive advantage gained from its strategy and the implementation of Japanese inspired ‘lean’ principles. This has transformed the way the business operates, resulting in significant, tangible benefits for customers both in terms of time and money.

Lee Walker, Managing Director, comments: ‘Barlows’ focus is all about delivering excellence and saving our clients money by getting their doors open more quickly. 2007 has been a successful year for us and has seen significant company growth. We are delighted to welcome the nine new faces to the contracting team, they will be instrumental in ensuring that we can continue to deliver the high quality finishes our clients expect, whilst working at maximum efficiency levels. This year we also launched the Barlows Academy which all new employees go through, as Barlows grows it’s imperative that new starters go through this intensive induction process.’
