Barlows was established in 1875 and is based in Sheffield. 

We deliver projects for high profile customers across the UK and Eire including, Aurora Fashions, BAA, BP, Eat, Greggs, McDonald’s Restaurants, Pret a Manger, Sainsbury’s and Wilkinson’s.

Barlows is a principal contractor who is also able to offer programme management of the whole process. Our strategy focuses on customers who are able to offer project repeatability enabling implementation of our lean techniques/waste reduction.

Delivering a quality store on time, within budget and with excellent health & safety should be standard practise within the shopfitting industry. Barlows recognise the customers’ primary requirement is to avoid lost revenue through store closures during the fit out process.

With this strategy in mind, Barlows has developed lean techniques with three clear objectives for each of our customers; reduce costs, reduce time on site and deliver projects with zero defects.

These principles are now embedded within Barlows as standard process and many customers are taking advantage of this revenue enhancing technique.
