Barlows Investing In People

Barlows is pleased to announce that it has again been recognised as Investors in People (IIP). Initially awarded IIP back in October 2006, Barlows has worked hard over the past three years with its team to ensure that it continues to be recognised as an Investor in People.

Investors in People recognise the ongoing commitment Barlows has to the continuous investment in its people.

Kay Hutchinson, responsible for HR at Barlows commented:

“We are delighted to have been recognised by IIP again.  Continuous improvement is an integral part of our values, and we are always looking for ways to improve our business and the development of our team.  Two years ago we moved away from the traditional annual employee appraisals to monthly one to one discussions.  This allows us to be more involved in personal development and has lead to improved employee engagement. Our weekly team briefs also help to keep everyone informed, engaged and motivated.
