Another Successful Project Completed for McDonald’s Restaurants

Handed over a day ahead of schedule, the restaurant has been a big hit with customers and has seen an 18% increase in sales. McDonald’s Restaurant franchisee, Eddie Leligdowicz, was delighted with the Barlows team and his newly refurbished Drive Thru restaurant.

Since becoming a McDonald’s franchisee in 1999, Eddie Leligdowicz has grown his portfolio to six restaurants.  Ever conscious of the needs of both his customers and restaurant staff, Eddie jumped at the opportunity to transform his Newcastle-Under-Lyme Drive Thru into the brand new McDonald’s restaurant design.

Delivering projects for McDonald’s since 2006, Barlows was well aware of the challenges it faced to ensure disruption to customers and staff was kept at a minimum during the refurbishment. Communication was key and the Barlows project managers worked closely with Eddie and his team, to ensure the phased work allowed either the Drive Thru lane or walk-in restaurant to remain trading with minimal customer inconvenience.

Handing over the project a day early was a real bonus for Eddie as it meant his fully re-opened restaurant could get back to normal business even quicker.

Eddie commented; “The new restaurant has been a big hit with our customers and really raised the morale of my staff. The Barlows team were very professional and did a great job whilst they were here. The standard of workmanship was excellent and I’d definitely want Barlows to deliver my next project.”
