Barlows delivers striking new concept for McDonald's Restaurants

Barlows has successfully completed 49 re-imaged McDonald’s restaurants in 2008.  The striking new concept has been appearing on high streets over the past 18 months, and Barlows has been one of the companies delivering the projects. 

The ‘Less Is More’ concept incorporates bold colours and graphics into restaurants designed with new, alternative seating layouts. 

Both the interior and exteriors have been refurbished using eye-catching and fun colours, striking furniture and light fittings.  The refurbishments had minimal impact on McDonald’s customers with each restaurant closing for the shortest possible time. 

Mathew Fleming, Head of Account Management at Barlows, said: ‘This was a new customer to us in 2007 and we have been delighted with the success of the projects we have delivered and the relationship we have built with the McDonald’s team.  We look forward to continuing to work with McDonald’s in 2009.’
