Greggs and Barlows Working Together

Barlows has delivered its first project for new client Greggs. The well-known bakery outlet has more than 1,300 shops across the UK and has both refurbishment and new store plans for the future. 

With a common objective to reduce store fit out costs, Barlows has delivered its first project for Greggs.

The Oldham based store, located within a new retail development was completed April 2009.  Programmed to be delivered three days quicker than the standard Greggs’ project, Barlows completed the project on time to an excellent standard finish.

The new bakery shop fit out took the blockwork shell to a welcoming Greggs shop.  Work on site included the boarding of internal and stud walls, installation of a suspended ceiling and air conditioning, as well as the installation of serving counters, displays and bakery equipment.
   

The layout of the new shop allows customers to be served at the large display counter whilst being able to view the fresh sandwich preparation area to the rear of the shop.
