Barlows has worked with BAA since 2005, managing the supply and installation of a wide range of check-in desking and airport specific desking solutions.
Barlows programme managed the design, manufacture and installation of over 800 different types of desks at the recently completed Terminal 5. The desks included; immigration desks, gate desks, ticket presentation podiums, seated and standing service desks, and two types of check-in desks, as well as various other bespoke solutions through the airport.
During the project Barlows was awarded the ‘BAA High 5 Award’ for recognition of the constant high standards provided during the contract. Our successful delivery of this £6.7 million project has lead to further projects with BAA at Heathrow and its other UK airports.
